About us

Innovatiecluster Drachten consists of 23 high-tech innovative companies.

We do not compete with each other, but work together. This is how we develop and make high-quality and unique products. We do this by sharing knowledge. That is why we welcome new insights and enjoy working with technological talented people. We share knowledge through, for example, honours programmes for students and High Tech Safaris. We also offer special career and development programmes for talented people, and we provide mentoring for high-tech start-ups. The companies share high-tech equipment, including industrial metal and plastic 3D printers and cobots in our Shared Facility Center. This is where our workplaces for R&D projects, development and testing facilities for 3D printing are located. Soon we will also add auditoriums for school and student programmes.
