Your position

Sparck is a dynamic and leading organization that is constantly developing, just like our Finance department. With a dynamic and dedicated team, we strive to provide innovative solutions that contribute to the success of our customers. As a Senior General Ledger Accountant, we are looking for a driven employee who professionally conducts the international financial administration of our product lines and supports management & financial reporting.

The responsibilities include:

• Carrying out the administration of the foreign entities and the Dutch operating company;
• Consolidating the various administrations and eliminating group transactions;
• You are the contact person for foreign administration offices and accountants;
• Advises (solicited and unsolicited) the organization with regard to financial management;
• Supporting the Finance & Accounting Manager on financial topics.

In addition to your experience as a Senior General Ledger Accountant and working with financial objectives, you also look at the way of working and the work processes. You explain the figures, how they are constructed and translate them into useful management information. You can think along and give substance to financial issues.

You report to the Finance & Accounting Manager. Together with 5 colleagues, you ensure the further development, professionalization and positioning of the Finance department within Sparck Technologies.

As an enthusiastic Senior General Ledger Accountant, you take on challenges and endorse our strategic goals of growth and professionalism. You are steadfast and you are not easily discouraged. You may have gained experience as a Senior General Ledger Accountant at an international production company or at an administration/accounting firm. You switch easily between different hierarchical levels, you are analytically strong, accurate and you have a proactive attitude. The position is the next step in your career.

 And you supplement that with:

• HBO working and thinking level in Finance, Accounting or a similar field; 
• Min. 2 years of experience in a similar position or at least 3 years of relevant experience at an administration/accounting firm;
• You are structured, you have an eye for detail and you are stress resistant;
• You have good business insight, you are enterprising and energetic and you have an affinity with commerce. 
• Good knowledge of extensive financial administration and factory accounting;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
• Able to work both independently and in a team;
