What are you going to do?
The Team Leader Production ensures that employees are deployed optimally, both in terms of capacity and skills, to ensure that processes run smoothly and efficiently. You lead the teams and are part of the operations management. In doing so, you monitor the agreed lead times. You also ensure that projects on the work floor are carried out within the set time, budget and quality standards. Implementing improvements is an important part of your work; you provide operational management to the Business Improvement Officer (BIO) for various improvement projects.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Leading two team leaders.
- Provide operational management to BIO.
- Management of material flows, machinery, and tools.
- Providing professional and safety instructions.
- Make proposals for the purchase/replacement of materials and budget monitoring.
- Provide technical advice and participate in project teams.
- Supervising implementation and monitoring the progress of hours.
- Performing HR tasks and communicating strategy and objectives.
- Realizing workforce planning and facilitating professional development.
- Daily responsibility for production processes and optimization.
- Monitoring overall quality and regulatory compliance.
What are you taking with you?
You communicate easily with colleagues from different departments and stand for positive leadership. In this way, you know how to achieve great results with your colleagues. You are accurate, follow safety regulations strictly and support commercial activities where necessary. You have a keen eye for detail and know how to effectively manage and improve projects.
We further ask:
- Minimum HBO working and thinking level in mechanical engineering or similar;
- Relevant experience as a manager;
- Knowledge of technical manuals, diagrams, drawings and maintenance instructions;
- Technical knowledge of production processes and materials;
- Experience with HSEQ procedures and safety regulations.

The Location
We are specialists in producing turbine blades, accessories and complex products for industrial turbines, compressors and pumps. At our production location in Sneek, multidisciplinary teams work on projects for our customers all over the world. We have been improving our unique production process for more than 60 years.
