From a modern building in Emmen, we work with a team of motivated colleagues on technology that is applied in state-of-the-art instrumentation for UHPLC and SPE systems. Research, development, production, sales and marketing are therefore all carried out internally. Our daily functioning is characterized by teamwork and short lines of communication.

Within the Operations team, we are immediately looking for an operational buyer for the Purchasing & Logistics department. Together with your colleagues, you ensure the availability of components to maintain production continuity and complete customer orders on time. You maintain contact with our suppliers, ensure that our ERP system is up-to-date, identify and respond to bottlenecks and implement improvement actions to guarantee the reliability of orders and timely delivery. You report to the Purchasing & Logistics team leader.

What are you going to do?

• You process purchasing advice, place purchase orders, check order confirmations and ensure timely delivery of these orders
• You process rejections and returns
• Keeping purchasing and logistics data in the ERP package up to date

Who are we looking for?

For this position we are looking for someone who has a proactive and results-oriented mindset and can and dares to take responsibility, but who also escalates at the right time.

What are you taking with you?

• MBO4 course (Purchasing & Logistics)
• Preferably 1 to 3 years of purchasing experience
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written
• Has organizational, analytical and communication skills
• Preferably has experience with ERP systems
• Interested in optimizing the entire logistics process
