Job Description Summary
As an Electrical Engineer you are part of the Manufacturing Technology Engineering department. This complete engineering team, consisting of 10 employees, is responsible for supporting and continuously improving our product and the production process in the areas of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Process Engineering. The technical knowledge of our team is high and very action-oriented, which is also necessary to guarantee decisiveness in the production process.
As an Electrical Engineer you are involved in solving (complex) electrical & electronics related problems of systems that have already been put into production.
The activities you carry out are carefully recorded and documented by you.

Responsibilities:
- Provide first line support to the assembly department
- Sustaining activities (including End of Life issues)
- Carrying out root cause analyses.
- Reviewing designs
- Solving quality problems and implementing improvements.
- Identify significant value cost down opportunities.
- Making systems suitable for series production (DFA)
- Elaboration of drawings in authorized systems (advanced CAD tools + PDM)
Your profile:
- HBO diploma (not university) in electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of Mechatronics.
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar position.
- Familiar with UL, CSA, CE and RoHS requirements.
- Knowledge of PCBAs
- Knowledge of ESD
- Proven experience in solving electrical related problems
- Command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
In addition:
- Living in - or willing to move to the North of the Netherlands (Drachten area)
- No preference for R&D, but for a position in Manufacturing Engineering
