A digital MBO Discovery Journey!
For MBO students studying ICT at one of the ROCs in the north, a virtual meeting was organized with the aim of inspiring the students and providing information about the possibilities for further education or finding the right internship or job. This digital event provided a glimpse into the IT world. MBO students who are already working in IT told about their experiences and successful entrepreneurs gave a glimpse into their world and workInnovatiecluster Drachten gave a good picture of the innovative high-tech companies in the north.

Joining SRON at Innovatiecluster Drachten

Spin-off will further develop and market Variass IT architecture
The core business of Variass is the development, assembly, industrialization and production of electronic and mechatronic high-tech solutions for customers. Now that 90 percent of the building blocks for an IT architecture are in-house and processes have been accelerated and optimized, the idea arose to market this low-threshold solution via a spin-off.
Satellite instrument can more accurately predict climate
It is special, the scientists say, to now have extensive contact with American colleagues at NASA. Dutch researchers have been tinkering with the SPEXone satellite instrument for three years.
