Since Tuesday 28 October, the Innovatiecluster Drachten has added another company: YP Your Partner. By being part of the Innovatiecluster Drachten, YP Your Partner, in collaboration with the municipality of Smallingerland and the province of Fryslân, helps to put the Drachten region on the map as innovative, technological and knowledge-intensive. Attracting highly trained personnel and exchanging knowledge and experiences are concrete goals.

The Innovatiecluster Drachten now has eleven participating companies. Mayor of the municipality of Smallingerland, Tjeerd van Bekkum, has put YP Your Partner in contact with the Innovatiecluster Drachten. One of the reasons for this was the difficulty in finding highly trained personnel in and around the Drachten region. In addition, according to Theun Prins, it is important that the forces of companies are combined in order to arrive at new concepts. “After all, this is the time for smart collaboration,” says Theun Prins.
