On Wednesday, October 16, the ICD was active at the Job Fair of the University of Applied Sciences Emden/LeerThe aim of this day was to inform students about opportunities for internships, graduation and also jobs after graduation.

There were many formidable competitors such as Dekra, Accelor Mital and Thyssen Maritime and also a lot of local industry. This made it a fight for attention. The advantage is that we are already participating for the third time. As a result, many students already know the ICD and this day resulted in a continuous stream of interesting conversations.

Where we were mainly visited by internationals last time, now German students also appeared to be interested. Many mechanical engineering, data science, energy and electronics students were enthusiastic about the possibilities. Soon we will receive 50 students from the new sustainable product design bachelor in Drachten and Veendam. To be continued!
