A look back at the student presentations of Industrial Automation & Robotics – NHL Stenden
Nieuws | 1 May 2024
On Friday, April 19, a group of first-year working students from the NHL Stenden Associate degree Industrial Automation and Robotics came together in the SKILL building for an exciting presentation day. These ambitious students had the opportunity to share the fruits of twenty weeks of intensive project work with their company supervisors, teachers and fellow students. With more than 30 attendees, this day had a particularly dynamic character.
The presentations took place in two rooms of the SKILL building, where innovative products, machines and robots were exhibited. This not only provided the students with a platform to showcase their technical skills and creative solutions, but also to transfer valuable knowledge to their fellow students and academic staff.
One of the highlights was the presentation of Thomas van der Vaart from FrieslandCampina. Thomas demonstrated how he has made significant improvements to the cheese factory in Marum using vision cameras, which significantly improved efficiency.
Another notable project was presented by Tom People from Fresenius-Kabi. Tom has conducted in-depth research into some critical issues in tube feeding quality control and successfully implemented improvements.
This inspiring day was not only a showcase of technical innovation and collaboration, but also a testament to the practical and direct impact of the training on real industries.
