Delta Instruments joins Innovatiecluster Drachten

On March 18, 2014 Delta Instruments officially joined the Innovatiecluster Drachten as the ninth member. On behalf of Delta Instrumenst, Anne Gerben Terpstra (R&D manager) and Mirjam Kip (HRM manager) were present at the TEL fair in Leeuwarden to ratify the collaboration with a signature.
Delta Instruments BV, part of the American company Advanced Instruments Inc., is a renowned company engaged in the development and production of dairy analysis equipment. Advanced infrared spectrometry is used to determine the chemical composition of the dairy products. Flow cytometry is used to determine the concentration of biological components (somatic cells and bacteria). The worldwide distribution of this equipment takes place through a global dealer network. The clientele that purchases this equipment are dairy-related companies and institutions that use the purchased equipment to meet the high quality requirements in the dairy chain. Innovation and product development are spearheads in Delta Instruments' strategy. The R&D investments therefore amount to 25% of the total turnover.
