On Saturday 20 September there was an open day at the Philips site in Drachten. During this day there was the unique opportunity to introduce the visitors to the Innovatiecluster Drachten. Companies such as YP Your Partner, Delta Instruments, Whisper Power, Variass and Neopost managed to present themselves in a beautiful way. The Fryske Fablab was present for the younger visitor. The latest 3D printers were presented here.

4000 visitors enjoyed a beautiful day at the Philips site, where there was a lot of interest in the new companies of the Innovatiecluster Drachten. The usefulness and necessity of the cluster was therefore endorsed by many visitors. “We should have done this much earlier”, were the words of former Philips employees. So we can look back on a successful day for the Innovatiecluster Drachten.
