If you are a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student or master's student of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences, NHL Stenden, the University of Groningen or Windesheim, you certainly stand a chance of belonging to the 'part of the smart'.

By choosing a career in the high-tech industry, at one of the companies affiliated with the Innovatiecluster Drachten (ICD), you contribute to solutions for the future and society. Such as health, hunger, clean energy, water quality and climate action, but also in the field of peace and good security. Pretty Smart right

Why HTCM?

The companies that work together within the ICD are part of the international high-tech manufacturing industry. They are located in the Northern Netherlands and operate worldwide. In your position, job or internship you are able to work on social problems and share knowledge with colleagues from different companies. Our companies jointly use the Shared Knowledge Innovation Learning Lab (SKILL), with industrial 3D printers for metal and plastic and cobots. This is where we host our workshops for R&D projects and our 3D printing development and testing facilities and auditoriums for school and student programs are located. Your future is guaranteed and gives you a challenging working environment within Innovatiecluster Drachten, which currently houses 22 interesting high-tech companies.

And last but not least: Living in the Northern Netherlands provides a good 'work-life balance', with hardly any traffic jams, spatial and cheaper living, water and forests and much more. So why not continue your career in the Northern Netherlands after you graduate?
