Offering the best, most durable and most efficient electrical system solutions for vessels, yachts, vehicles, homes and objects without electrical connections and for various industrial applications. That is the mission of WhisperPower. 

In recent years, the business focus has been on the development of smart grid systems that are used to harness even more energy from the sun. Traditionally WhisperPower has been active in the maritime and mobile market segments. In these sectors too, the aim is to use as many renewable technologies as possible in the production of autonomous energy.

History
In May 2007 WhisperPower BV was separated from Mastervolt International Holding to continue as an independent company. Since 1998, Whisper generators have been produced in Drachten and distributed under the Mastervolt brand. In 2010 WhisperPower took control of the worldwide distribution of generators and parts. The range has since been expanded with additional power products to provide complete systems.

Hybrid Power Systems BV was founded in 2009 and is also based in Drachten. The company focuses on the development and production of combined hybrid and propulsion systems for superyachts and commercial vessels. Hybrid technology is also used in systems for smaller vessels, vehicles and off-grid power systems.

Founder and shareholder of the various companies is the management company of Mastervolt's founder, Heidevolt BV. In 2011 WhisperPower China, based in Shanghai, was added to the group. WhisperPower is active in more than 40 countries and is considered a premium brand.

Technology
WhisperPower has years of experience in combining diesel power with power electronics and battery technology. The product range covers a power range from 500 watts to 500 kW. A select team of product developers inside and outside the company ensures that the innovation and product development plan is implemented as planned.

production
Most of the production is done in the 5500 m2 facility in Drachten, Friesland (NL). In addition, a large part is outsourced to partner companies in the Netherlands and abroad. Our premises symbolise the new thinking in the field of energy-friendly sustainability. The building is equipped with a small solar system and a complete self-sufficient energy recovery system that provides heating and cooling. Energy that is generated during the testing of the generators and power electronics, with a minimum test time of three hours, is reused. The system is linked to our heat pump system.
